Yes. All core features — catching, battling, breeding, trading, and more — are completely free. There are optional cosmetic items available but nothing pay-to-win.
How do Pokemon spawn? +
Pokemon appear randomly in your server channels as members chat. When one appears, type its name to catch it. The more active your server, the more spawns you'll see.
How does the battle system work? +
Mewbot uses a full Gen 7 competitive battle engine. Abilities, held items, weather, terrain, status effects, type matchups, and priority moves all function exactly as you'd expect.
Can I trade Pokemon across servers? +
Yes. Your Pokemon collection is tied to your Discord account, not a specific server. You can trade, battle, and interact with your Pokemon from any server that has Mewbot.
What are Radiant and Shiny Pokemon? +
Shiny Pokemon are rare color variants just like in the mainline games. Radiant Pokemon are Mewbot-exclusive ultra-rare forms with unique visual effects. Both are highly sought after.
